Public Art:

  • The Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16th Street, has ongoing exhibitions of works by local and regional artists Monday-Friday

  • The Indian River County Main Library hosts ongoing themed exhibits by artists of the Vero Beach Art Club (every day).

  • Turtle Trax Turtles can be seen at various downtown locations - the corner of 14th Ave & 20 Street and the IRC Main Library. Don't miss Main Street's "Hibiscus Honey" on the grounds of the Heritage Center.


Galleries & Artists Studios

  • Tiger Lily Gallery & Studios is home to artists Chris Adams Johnson, Julia Carter, Shotsi Lajoie, Jill Pease, Linda Proctor, Sharon Sexton, and Glenda Taylor exhibiting paintings, sculptures, photographs, and ceramics.

  • Gallery 14 is a spacious contemporary gallery featuring oil, acrylic & pastel paintings; photographs, jewelry, mixed media sculpture, and collage by 13 artists. The exhibits rotate weekly and guest artists are featured each month.

Museums & Historic Structures

  • The Heritage Center & Indian River Citrus Museum (1935) - Housed in a former WW II USO Building, the Heritage Center hosts events as well as offering a facility for parties & social functions. Make sure to visit the Gift Shop & Citrus Museum for an historical tour of Indian River County's famous citrus industry.

  • The Indian River County Historical Society (1903) 2336 14th Ave., is housed in Vero Beach's former railroad station.

  • The Rotary Clubs Centennial Fountain

  • The Pocahontas Building (1923) - Located at 14th Avenue & 21 Street, this building has apartments upstairs and shops & restaurants on the first floor.

  • The Courthouse Executive Center (1937) 2145 14th Avenue is the former county courthouse now home to business offices.
